Strategic Plan:

Pillar #4

Intentional community partnerships:

Creating learning and service opportunities far beyond campus

Bringing hands-on discovery and problem-solving to our classrooms

Harding Academy’s campus is warm and beautiful, enveloped in a safe, supportive neighborhood, which offers students a comfortable place to test new possibilities and ideas. It should also function as a stable launchpad for greater exploration of the world beyond Harding, a starting point for important relationships with our city and region, and a point of departure for evolving conversations about our location, our history, and the learning opportunities embedded in both.

Our strategic plan envisions fewer boundaries and stronger ties: It facilitates new hands-on, real-world learning on campus and dispatches our students well beyond to learn from, work with, and serve those who share our larger community. Ultimately, our graduates will emerge from Harding made braver by their own experiences and made wiser by engaging others’ perspectives, knowledge, and contributions.
